Appearance of a new mage (Open =D)

Cain exited the bar rubbing his eyes. When he went inside it was still dark out and he was very intoxicated but after spending the night passed out in a bathroom stall after puking his guts up, it seemed that the sun had made it's appearance. After letting his eyes adjust to the new light he made his way into town. He had been couch hoping for the past three days since he came to Falcon City but he was about to head to one of his apartments located in town. It wasn't anything amazing but had a few cloths he could change into, a place to take a shower and to refresh himself after his rough night. He seemed to have spent all the jewels he started the night with and couldn't remember the name or the face of the girl he hooked up in the ally way early on in the night. His head was pounding and his neck and back were stiff from his awkward sleeping location.

As he stood outside the bar on the street corner he could tell people were staring at him and judging him. Heck anybody would if they saw a man wearing pants, no shoes, a sport jacket that was wide open but no shirt on underneath exposing his chest to the world. A tie hung loosely around his neck and his hair was a mess. He reeked of alcohol and shame, mainly vomit. Looking up and down the street he tried to judge where exactly he was in the city. "Well damn it, where the hell am I?" Cain wasn't sure which way was the direction to his place so he decided to just start walking down the street until he saw something that looked familiar, though it had been a year or so since coming to Falcon City so he was a bit fuzzy on the details. With his head hung low he started his walk of shame throughout the city's streets.

Jinchu walked, a little tired since he usually didn't get up this early but there was little he could do about it. Sometimes he just can't manage to sleep very long, especially in a new city. It wasn't as if he were homesick or scared just more curious than ever since he had only just got in last night. He was very intrigued about the goings-on in the area and wanted to maybe meet a couple people who knew their way around. He yawned as he strode along the sidewalk, looking around to get an idea of a few land marks so he could make it back to the inn later. There weren't a great amount of people prowling at such an early time but it looked as if some were trying to get to work or something as they bustled along.

Jinchu's choice of clothes were the usual, the mysterious red over-jacket with the high conjoined collar. His mouth and chin were completely covered from a straight on angle but it just contributed to the mystery that he was. His black pants and boots were a lot less in the attention drawing department but his coat was big enough that it made no difference. It wasn't long before he saw a man, taller than him by the looks of it that wore no shoes. His shirt was open and he had a loose tie dangling around his neck and definitely a bit older than Jinchu. He looked like a bit of a mess, Jin was a bit interested in seeing if he needed help but he was unsure of whether the guy just had a rough night or he was a low-life that did this daily.

He overruled that he couldn't morally just pass him by. He stopped walking just as he was within a few meters distance but he could heavily smell the alcohol on him, he passed his limit during his second last bottle let alone what put him in this state, 'Wow, this guy sure knows how to give it his all... Maybe he should pick a smarter activity though...' Even so Jin was obligated to make sure everything was at least alright, "Excuse me, are you okay? Do you need help with anything?" Jinchu hoped that the older guy would accept maybe at least an escort home.

Cain had stumbled along the city's streets there were tons of people looking at him but no one had bothered to even stop to help him out whenever he would try to ask for directions. Before he knew it he was reaching the slums of the city. He didn't mean to get to this part of town but since he was here now he could figure out the way to get back to his place. He didn't need to stay around here for too long, he did owe a couple of people down this street a few bucks.As he stood in front of a store, whos sign read "Red Field's guns and ammunition, a young man walked up to him asking if he was okay. Finally a kind spirit, though a bit late on his journey.

"Oh, yea I'm fine I guess. Just a bit of a rough night haha. I'm sure you've had a few yourself." Cain let out a hearty laugh slapping the younger man gently on the back. Cain was still feeling pretty bad but nothing compared to how he has woken up in the past. He didn't want to stick in this area for too long, its not like things would get bad he just didn't want to deal with drama this early in his hangover.

As usual, Chris scans through the hand gun section of the store looking for something, an accessory or an upgrade to his current weapons in hand. If not, a new set of pistols would be a good gift to himself, that is, if he found one worth taking. He's not that choosy but for the next minutes of his scanning, there's nothing that got his interest as there's nothing new. "Epps, just get me a dozen of these. The standard. For Practice." Chris decided to just buy a considerable amount of standard ammo as he, then, just decided to get some practice went back home. He can't simply use the ones right on his place or the ones that he uses for mission and some sort. Its of different quality and what he bought is best for practice. "Check. Just tag if there's new arrival. I'll be around for a day or two..." Chris left the store with the item that he purchased and off the street once more.

Oozing with his Sable Pantera aura, none tried to block Chris way as he walk through the busy crowd right outside the store. Its nothing special but its just that they, as Sable Pantera members, are somehow considered as authorities of the city but not that much. They're just that badass. Chris just walk off but not a couple of meters away, the thing, or better yet, the person who's making a not really that kind of big deal of stuff in the open area got Chris attention. A drunk man, perhaps. Chris decided to approach the man not to help him exactly but to simply lessen the attention being gathered. But that's after a young man decided to lend the man first. "What do we have here?", he ask with a bold but curious tone of voice. Of course, its obvious that the man's drunk but they should get that Chris meant to give a hand even for some degree.

It was a relief to hear the man was at least not a violent drunk, it would be a little awkward to have to put a helpless man down so early in the morning, not a good way to start a day in the slightest. It was actually quite interesting that he said such a thing though, Jin thought back to the horror-filled night of his past just for a flash of a second. He wasn't dealing with emotional damage from it but it still was a very dark time in his life, he was brought back by the friendly tap he was given by the man, "Hah!... Rough night?.... You have no idea, not the sort you're thinking though. How about I give you a hand?" His tone was still friendly and a tinge concerned by the end, it was a good idea to make sure he could be taken home to recovery from what Jinchu imagined was a wild hangover. Before there would be a chance for the drunken man to respond, another guy came onto the scene. Jin didn't really notice but they were just outside a black market guns dealership. What he did notice from the corner of his eye that people seemed to purposefully avoid getting in the approaching figure's way, which didn't sit well with Jinchu. He didn't mention anything since no person seemed to be genuinely scared or frightened, just uncomfortable.

Once the man came into a proper view Jin saw that he was a rather large, muscular man. He could rationalize then and there why people may have been a bit uncomfortable. He looked about as tall as the drunk man, surely a few inches taller than Jinchu. His arms were massive and his whole appearance looked threatening, taking on a very mercenary-oriented image. This excited Jin only for a moment, he seemed like the sort of guy who enjoyed a fight, he would have to ask him to go for a spar or something once everything with the other man was dealt with. The first thing that came out of the man's mouth was a question. An honest question that was easy enough to answer, "Apparently this guy had a rough night, I wanna see if I can get him home." He turned back to the man in question, "My name is Jinchu by the way, what's yours?"

The young man that asked him if he was ok seemed like an okay guy. His name seemed to be Jinchu, before he could really talk too much though a larger muscular man walked over to the two. He also looked at Cain with the same questioning eye's that Jinchu did as well, maybe he look worse than he was. "Well I got a little turned around was looking for the East side of town, but ended up at the South it seemed. But the names Cain, and the reason I look so rough was had a pretty fun night. But don't worry I'm not some homeless person just got turned around." Cain held out his hand to greet the two new faces. Both seemed like they were atleast kind hearted people since they took the time to come over to check on him, though the larger man's voice had a tone about it that almost made it feel as if he was judging Cain, though he didn't really let it bother him really.

Jin was present with the other two talking. He was quite passive about the situation outside getting the man who introduced himself as Cain home, at least so he could get presentable. The very muscular man said his name was Chris and he was of Sable Pantera. It seemed to ring a bell but nothing familiar enough for Jinchu to fit the name to something. He had an eerie feeling at the end of Chris's sentence though, "keeping the street... as it is" It just seemed unsettling that a man assumed such an 'unofficial' but definitive position. He wasn't exaggerating either, the people must have been distant for that reason, but Jin couldn't be sure.

Chris spoke again and Jin merely nodded as a response, "That's fine with me, just gotta see what Cain says, I guess." He straightened himself, erect and firm to stand with the taller men. He quickly asked Chris a question, see if he could get a chance at what he was interested in when he first saw him, "Chris... Do you fight often? Or are those muscles more for show?" This was an honest question as Jin had met many 'tough guys' that were really just thee for looks, he could strike with them without much help of even his magic. It would be interesting to see if this military sort was like them, and if not maybe see if he wanted to prove it. Jin couldn't deny there could be two wins in this scenario; if Chris turned out to be a bully in a disciplinary position then he could possibly knock some sense into him if he showed an interest in a spar.

Cain was starting to really miss his shoes and an undershirt he was getting a bit chilly. He went ahead and buttoned up his shirt and brushed down his hair a bit so it didn't look too messy. His tongue ran over his grime covered teeth. He knew he was in desperate need of a shower. But both the strangers were willing to escort him to his home, a kind and noble gesture. Both were getting points in his book that was for sure, while the guy that stole his shoes well he was defiantly on a kill on site list now, he had just got those shoes and they cost a pretty penny. Cain couldn't fully remember the route to his home so having two locals might be a bit of help.

"Hmm well sounds like a trip to my place then, I'll cook us all up some eggs or something maybe. I have a place on East 7th street, right off the park area and right before the high rise area. I don't fully remember the route though." Cain reached up and scratched his head while letting out another hearty laugh. The three seemed like an unlikely group that would gather at a spur of the moment it was odd how fate had a funny way of playing out. Maybe he would have two new friends by the end of the day. Never could hurt to have more friends in his book at least, kept life a bit more interesting that sort of way.

Before Jin would get an answer to his open question, Cain had piped up and spoke about where the location of his apartment was. Jin's face lit up at the mentioning of food but sank again when he heard that Cain didn`t remember the route, 'I just got here.... Dammit, hopefully Chris might know the way.' Just after that Chris made his short but informative response, 'Guess if he's not one to start up a fight I couldn't say it's very likely that he abuses his disciplinary position. But sad part is I am also out of luck with a sparring partner... I guess I can`t have my cake and eat it too.'

Jin was absorbed in his own thoughts so he partially missed what Chris was saying to Cain but it didn't matter since he caught the end of it, "let's go there..." With a simple nod towards Chris, Jinchu quickly snuck a couple words in to clarify he would be of no help in directions, "You'll be taking the lead, I'm new here." From that moment on Jinchu was waiting to at least see what direction they were going. The address was apparently east as Cain said so he had a general idea but he would feel a lot more secure to follow a correct direction from a local instead of guess for himself. He slightly clenched his fists out of habit and asked Chris something before they began the journey, "So... You don't even like to spar for sport? That's a shame..." He was going to add more but decided Chris would have been less than interested to hear the rest. Jin also didn't mind extending an invite to Cain for a spar but he preferred to wait for a day he was in top shape, fighting a hungover man is just cowardice.
