Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Chris on Mon Oct 15, 2012 6:45 pm

Info: You've entered the enemy's territory and now they're on your tail.

Deep inside the woods located in the dangerous terrain of Mt. Three Head, Chris was on his way down after a personal mission that he took facing several odds but things were just starting. With the last couple of days that he's been around the same part of the mountain, he felt confident with his familiarity of the land even for that short period of time. He was walking without his full attention to his very environment. The same environment he's so carefully been exploring in the past days. The same environment which rumored to be sheltering those who have cruelest of intentions.

Chris, a mercenary and a member of famous mage guild, Sable Pantera, was on his way back home and then like most events, the best is saved for last. As he take a shorter route straight down, a detour instead of the visible pathway, he unknowingly got the attention of several men who've been encamped not far from where he is. He has no idea that he's been spotted and as he continue on his way, he might somehow feel that he's already been being watched by needle like eyes. Shit.
, Chris admits his carelessness and that he started to suspect that he was, indeed, being watched. He played unaware for about several seconds trying to figure out who and how many people, if not, monsters were on his tail.

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Kaiba on Mon Oct 15, 2012 7:47 pm

It had only taken him a matter of hours, and Kaiba was already above Mount Three Head, and currently in the forest. He started his descent, knowing full well that if she was amongst the trees he wouldn't be able to find her from above the level of the canopy. Finally he got through the trees and landed on a high branch among one of the trees silently, his boots hitting wood the only noise that could even possibly have been heard. This was a good sign, as he didn't want very many people to know that he was up here.

That was, apparently, not the way it was going to be as he noticed a strange man. He seemed to remember the face from somewhere, maybe it was something to do with the fact that he was a member of the same guild, but he knew that this guy wasn't one of the hitmen. He familiarized himself with his rivals, no this guy was likely just another mercenary. Maybe he should just ignore this guy.. no, now that he thought about it, he could use him to make his job much, much easier. After all, wasn't the best tool an assassin could use the environment. He was an artist of death, so he assumed that gave him the same stance as an assassin.

He called up from his perch on the limb
"Ooh, you're a pantera member aren't'cha?" His voice was sickly sweet and innocent,. the same voice that he used to lure people into a false sense of security before killing them. He assumed it would work the same on just normally making them drop their guard. Thankfully, he couldn't be seen just yet and all this guy had to go on was the sound of his voice
"I thought I was the only Pantera member assigned to a mission in this neck of the woods..." he giggled slightly "Woods? Get it?"

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Chris on Tue Oct 16, 2012 7:49 am

Given how tight the situation seems to be and that he does not intend to engage any hostile enemies at all on the first place, Chris has no choice but decided to proceed forward and if case any fight ensues, it should be at minimum. He already knows what to do even before hand which is why he's not really that tensed at all. He appears to be but that's just the terrain making him and his body warmed.

Chris continued observing the movements of the people following him but as he realize that he had gained speed and had left them for a considerate distance, he somehow felt uneasy but then his pace wasn't moved. Not long after he took a different route from the one he was taking, it may be off course but it better shrug off those who's following him and if he's right, he'll end up back to a small down down the base of the mountain in just minutes. That's if nothing goes wrong.

Around the area where Chris was currently at, trees were taller with fogs shrouding most of the part and as the place looks uncomfortable, a voice suddenly echoed. On the very instance the sound entered Chris' ears, his disposition changed into a taunting state. He stopped and immediately draw his handgun with his right hand as he turn around and a dagger ready to be pulled with his left. He was now facing on the direction he's suspecting where the voice came from with his gun pointing towards it though he won't shoot until he's precise on his target. He knows how echoes work so it might be the other way so even if he's wrong, he's alert. "Show your self."
, demanding for the person who talked to show himself though at the moment, he's suspecting that it was the same person or people who were on his tail earlier.

Well, it appears that they know who he is and it was saying something about mission. It might be a different person. It might be not. Chris waits until the guy show himself.

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Kaiba on Tue Oct 16, 2012 8:11 am

Oh, he was pointing a gun at him? How droll. Seriously, was he supposed to be scared of that? Where was his frightening aura, where was the knowledge that he could kill you, if he was a Pantera member he should be at least able to intimidate a little bit. He sighed slightly, quietly enough that it couldn't be heard. So, this was his guildmate. Bloody hell, he was really going to have to work hard on improving the guild. This was kind of ridiculous... but for now, he figured that he'd better be polite and show himself. After all, if he started firing into the treetops randomly, he might kill a bird or something, and that was no fun. Plus, the random fire would make sure that they would be noticed if anyone was nearby, and that was the absolute last thing he wanted in a place like this, especially with the fact that there would be Tartaros members around here somewhere.

"Show myself? Okie dokie lokie!" Kaiba put his hand up, starting to cover his body in his scales, purple scales sprouting up over his body protecting him from any attack as he leaped off the limb, diving onto him at high speeds. His arms wrapped around him as if it was a hug, but the motion threw him to the ground, pinning him underneath him on the forest floor. From here, he'd normally disarm the man and slit his throat, but this was an ally of his, so he needed to leave him alive. He smiled down at his guildmate, looking rather strange.
"Is this good enough?" He said slightly teasingly, smiling innocently despite the snake skin.

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Chris on Tue Oct 16, 2012 8:38 am

Chris was pretty tight with his stature given that he can't be more careless than he is earlier and as it appears that the person who had just spoke is familiar with him as a Sable Pantera member, it even made him more tight. He's suspecting that the person is an enemy and that there might be others with him and had just caught up with him. Either way, his finger is still tightly locked on the trigger of his gun. He won't act harsh but he won't act soft. His eyes were still observing not only a single spot but also several points in which movements might start at any given time. He has no idea at all and that as a trained mercenary, he can't be so easy on an enemy's territory.

With his breath slowly mixing to the air of the gloomy place, there might be an intense atmosphere all over the place but there's not. Chris calmly wait though his muscles were already amped ready to fire on any wrong move that his instinct will tell him so. The person did show himself responding on a very laid back manner but even with his bizarre appearance having bug like kind of armor covering his body but Chris did not shoot. He was somehow able to recall a familiar face he saw once on their guild house. He choose not to shoot. They may not be well acquainted but if he's right, the person was indeed a guildmate.

"Hey."
, like what most men do, one word is enough to greet another. Though Chris was still pointing his gun at the man, he lowered it a bit since he's still cautious with the environment. His tight grip with the handgun slowly eased up but as the man's motion suddenly changed, instead of pointing back the gun back to his supposed guildmate, Chris pulled his dagger instead. He was surprised with the man's action and was taken down though as he did, his gun ended up point on the man's temple with his dagger ready to slit his throat on one wrong move. He just reacted on instinct and that made Chris really confused.

The cold metal of the gun's nozzle was pressed against his forehead, causing Kaiba to raise an eyebrow.
"Why would ya wanna shoot me? I haven't done anything yet. Well, apart from the time I dived on you and forced you to the ground under me, but that was just a long distance hug!" he said, his voice keeping it's childish tone, but before he could cause any more problems a black light pulsed over his body, forcing the weapons back slightly, before he was revealed.

Where before there had been nothing but skin, he had grown another two arms that were now wrapped around the hands that had the weapons in them. His other two had crossed, showing that he wasn't very happy, pouting slightly
"You're so mean, why would you threaten me! You just don't appreciate the hug I just gave you, do you? Meanie." His acting was interrupted when he heard the snapping of a twig. Was someone else coming this way? God damn it, there goes his element of surprise.

With a slight clue of what just happened, Chris had just reacted to his instinct though as it appear that the two of them were from the same guild, in the past days, they haven't got a chance to talk to one another. Perhaps, today is the lucky day. Though Chris won't call it lucky at all since like what he has been suspecting, his guild mate could be a different one and there was still people on his trail. On their trail. This could be a good thing, too, but first, it might be better if they introduce themselves to one another properly. As in a normal way. "What's... what's with..." Calm as possible, Chris was about to ask his guild mate about his action and judging from his next moves, there's nothing to worry about at all. "I did not want to shoot you...", Chris distances his weapons from the man showing that he's not that hostile at all. "Wait. What are you doing here? My name is Chris and... sorry about that.", he adds. He eased up his threatened aura as it appears that there's no used to but still, they're not safe. Its not like they can't handle themselves though.

After straightforwardly saying his name thinking that he does not really have plenty of time to chitchat, he told his guild mate his name and when he was just about to add the thing which was bugging him - that he was being followed by, this time, real hostile people, he heard gushes around the woods not far from them. "Sorry about that... again. But we should get out of this place. Now.", He tried to give a warning though he might already be late.

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Kaiba on Tue Oct 16, 2012 1:14 pm

So, This guy's name was Chris, eh? Interesting. Still, it didn't really matter right now as he was sure that someone was trying to get to find them. It wasn't Tartarus... right? It would make sense if it was, he was chasing after one of their members anyway, so maybe they were just trying to look after one of their own? Chris suggested they get out of there, and Kaiba nodded. letting go of his hands and standing up, brushing himself down and offering his third hand to help Chris to his feet
"Good idea, maybe if we're lucky..."

"Which, clearly, you aren't." A female voice came from behind the pair, causing Kaiba to turn around and move one of his hands to underneath his coat. There was no-one there.... no-one he could see anyway. He gulped, they were using the same tactic he had been. Still, he giggled slightly, seeming a little bit insane
"Ooh, are you playing hide and seek? I LOVE hide and seek, although personally I prefer tag." The voice was clearly confused as he talked, and after all who wouldn't be? Kaiba had specifically designed his fake attitude to make others too confused to put up as much of a fight.
"Wait... What?"
"Yeah, I love tag. I remember this one time at band camp..."

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Chris on Tue Oct 16, 2012 2:04 pm

Yes. It might be a little late.

Right after Chris mentioned about getting away thinking that there are more people around and that they already had closed in, a third voice was heard. Its definitely not Chris nor with the other Sable Pantera member and on top of that, its feminine. "Fuck it.", Chris was dismayed that what he was suspecting ended up true. Though there's still chance that it was not he's thinking but still, Chris was caught in surprise. He thought there was no choice but to see who's the female talking. It came from their back though there was movements coming on the opposite direction, too. She might be not alone.

After leaving out a sigh, Chris looked towards where the voice came from but his attention was more towards the opposite where heavy steps seems to be approaching. It appears to be not a good time to mess up but as his guild mate answers back the female who's talking, Chris felt distracted. "You can't be serious..?" he told his guild mate but it seems he's serious on having a conversation with the unknown person. "Yes. You can't be serious, dummy!", a grumpy man's voice with a broken tone suddenly was heard and it was from the direction Chris was cautious about. It appears that who ever the man was, he was mimicking Chris on a very irritating manner. Revealing a large cave man like cave man, he's a cave man. Chris almost give out a chuckle right after he saw the cave man who likes a cave man but is definitely a cave man. But who's him to judge?

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

"You can't be serious...?" Chris had said, which caused Kaiba to smile slightly. Was he just saying that because of his surprise or was he seeing through the disguise? Still, either way it didn't really matter as another man stepped forwards, a big ugly brute that was clearly not an intellectual. Kaiba put his hands up in the air, feigning surrender.
"Ya know, it's not very nice if you people don't come out. Don't you know that it's impolite to not look at someone when you're talking to them? I don't want to be impolite, so come out so I can see you!" He said, a little sulkily before six other mages stepped out of the woods, completely surrounding the pair. However, none of them seemed to be wielding weapons of any kind. He guessed that these people were mages by their threatening aura without any weapons.

"Ooh! You guys are fellow mages, ain't'cha?" He asked, turning to smile at Chris as three small bumps appeared in his jacket, trailing down through the shadows and moving so they were just next to three people's legs. He should try and distract them for as long as possible. Thankfully no-one had seen them yet, except maybe Chris if his eyes were sharp. Although, he'd prefer for him not to so he could surprise him all the more when he finally revealed himself for what he was.

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Chris on Wed Oct 17, 2012 8:49 am

"This people...", Chris gives out a sigh once more as unexpected things on a disappointing manner seems to pile up one after another. If it was just a comedic scene and there's no serious atmosphere that needs for him to worry about, or Chris is not that serious, he'd be smiling already out of sheer enthusiasm of what's happening. But that would be out of his character and at the moment, he's seeing no funny things at all. As much as Chris wants to have minimum interactions, even worst, encounter like what had just happen, he might have just snap and try to run not because he's scared and a coward but its just that he has nothing to do against them, yet.

"What you looking at, dummy?"

"Ngakngakngak... yeah what you looking at muscles?"

"Ho! ho! ho! We got some 'sspassers over here!"

It looks like both Chris and his guild mate ended up surrounded by men who seems to be from around and if his hunch is right, they'd be members of the dark guild, Tartartos. Well, if they're simply bandits hanging around the domain by the said monsters, they shouldn't be breathing right now. Then on the same time, as his guild mate would inquire the identity of the group, Chris observed the cave man first whose appearance is a joke, followed by a frog-faced dwarf who's been snickering on a disgusting manner then last, the person who said that the pair were trespassers, more of a human but with a thick grotesque make up.

If Chris was doing something at the moment, he's simply standing waiting for the group to move wrong and his defensive stance would be offensive. As for his guild mate, Chris hasn't noticed anything specific but hopefully, he'd be ready in case these group decided to attack. There's six of them.

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Kaiba on Wed Oct 17, 2012 9:46 am

Well, that was absolutely charming. These guys were absolute freaks, Kaiba was not really in the mood to fuck around with these people right now, so he figured it was about time to drop the charade. Still, he might as well do it in a surprising way, make Chris all that more surprised.
"You know... for all I said about tag earlier..." he started, to which the woman who'd been talking earlier groaned. She was a young woman, perhaps twenty five? It didn't really matter all that much, but she looked completely out of place with the other freaks, especially the frog-faced midget.
"... There's a game I prefer much MUCH more than tag, it's..." He smiled briefly, an insane look crossing his face that made a few of the mages back away slightly, but then his tentacles wrapped around three of their legs. Specifically, the caveman, the dwarf and some hooded bloke standing next to the girl.

"CLAY PIDGEON SHOOTING!!!" He thrusted his tentacles upwards, throwing them up through the limbs of the tree, as he laughed cruelly. The last words had been lacking the falsetto tone he'd used since they'd met, it was his honest voice. Cruel, ruthlessly intelligent and more than a little bit sadistic. His hands all went underneath his coat to pull out a sword each before he ran forward into the group that was remaining, hacking and slashing at anyone who got too close. His eyes were glowing bright red, and anyone who looked into them started feeling sluggish and unable to move as fast as they should have been.

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Post by Chris on Wed Oct 17, 2012 10:22 am

Chris knows what he can do and what his ability will allow him to. Even outnumbered, he doesn't get intimidated or moved at all right after seeing their freak line up. He knows nothing of them so like in most scenarios, he does not take any of his enemies for granted and carefully payed attention to them. Aside from the cave man, the frog and the emo, there's three more. The chick and two other men whom appeared on the side of his guild mate. Still, even though he's not familiar with the capability of his guild mate, it did not come to his mind that it would be a burden if it ended up Chris taking larger roles. Its based on their size though it is kinda irrelevant. Either way, as serious as he is, there's been something bugging him as he think about his guild mate. He keeps talking about something which is swaying not only the other group but also Chris out of focus. "Hold on... you don't...", Chris was cut short on what he was just about to ask his guild mate as it talk about tag game. Chris knows that its not time to joke around and that if he's not, he had anticipated that the aloof nature of him might give it out.

As swift his guild mate shout, he already had made his move. The same goes with the three duds who's been around Chris more and as they react as fast as they could, trying, Chris also moved. He was just about to ask his guild mate on how should they do this but given his immediate action, Chris had no choice. "Nah ah ah...", with a cold tone, Chris warned two of the three men in front of him to move further as the other one got taken by his guild mate's attack but simply pointing his gun seems inefficient.

Good, his back was being covered by Chris, that meant he could go all out on this. His tentacles moved back, pulling three of the remaining Tartaros members up into the air by their legs. He smiled, and pointed one of his blades at their face, smiling gently
"You know what, I think you should be given a gift. What could that be?" he murmured, before smiling insanely
"Ooh! I know!! Agonizing death!" He pulled the tentacle forwards before slamming his sword through his chest, piercing the tartaros members chest, killing him quickly. The two of the remaining guild members seemed to baulk as they saw the blood dripping out of their ally. He smiled

"Aww.... you jealous? Don't worry. There's enough agonizing death for you, and for you and for.... OH SCREW IT, I'M FEELING GENEROUS!!! AGONIZING DEATH FOR EVERYONE!!" His tentacles threw them back into the ground where he stomped on their heads, crushing their skulls under his boots before he turned around and ran towards the girl, his sword pressed against her neck
"Give me what I want to know and me and my friend here might not leave you filled with holes. Understand?" The girl was trembling, clearly having seen what he'd just done
"W-what are you?"
"Me? Well.... I'm a demon, and this guy.." he put his hand out, gesturing to him with a thumb
"I think he's just a jaguar."

Though as serious and bold he is, it can't be denied that there's a worry which could be traced on his face as he see how his team mate act. He appears to be rash and unstable but that's the first impression Chris had. Its not the first time Chris had met a person with such personality but given that he's a guild mate, there's no need for adjusting but act according to his rule as a pantera member.

It may appear that the enemy were going for him and not Chris but then again, he has no choice as on the eyes of the dark mages, both him and Chris were enemies. Same goes to him. Chris pulled the trigger towards the cave man who was on the act of thrusting his way to make an attack. This was after they heard a sudden cry of a person who seems to have his life ended. Chris knows his guild mate is doing fine and actually, he was the one who made the killing blow and with all of the words he's saying, he seems to be having fun. "I told you!", Chris angrily roars towards the cave man revealing the nerves around his temple and neck. He shot the man on the shoulder and its not going to kill him. He did not stop.

"Dummy!", the cave man charges and cries out with his irritating voice after he get back down on the ground from Chris' guild mate's sudden attack.

Chris shot him twice on the leg but he's still on the go and in order to knock him down, Chris send the cave man a blow to his torso. A powerful uppercut with his free hand did the job lifting the larger body of his opponent up from the ground. Though with an another opponent who jumped in so rashly, Chris did not need more than a strong kick to make him flew several feet away. This can't be that easy.

Raising his eyebrow slightly, Kaiba looked back at the squabbling pair. God, chris was NOT very good with that gun of his. His distraction was enough to let the girl have an upper hand for a moment as she placed her hand against his chest, a strange blue light building up before he looked down and saw it just as she released it, barrelling into his chest as he was thrown backwards into a tree, slamming into the trunk, leaving a huge dent. She was clearly smiling, maybe thinking that she had won? That was NOT the way it turned out however as, as the dust settled, Kaiba was still standing, smiling cruelly

"hmm... is that the BEST you can do?" His right bottom hand threw the sword it contained forwards, piercing through her shoulder and pinning her to a tree as he walked next to her, just out of arm's reach, and smiled slightly.
"Ten jewels on Chris?" He said jokingly, watching the two men go back and forth. After all, it would be no good trying to make her tell him her information if he couldn't hear it over gun fire.

Well, Chris has no choice. He's not saving his bullets and its just that he think he shouldn't be fighting them on the first place. They're not even on his target's list or even has something to do with any of his mission. If its just that way, he'd ended up their lives on a second and leave immediately. Mission accomplished. Simple as that. No. 3 bullets down; 9 bullets to go. He does not shoot randomly. He wasn't just able to anticipate that even with three vital hits, the cave man was still standing. Not for long. "Tchh.". He was a little bit dismayed as he think its just a waste of time and on the same time, distracted with the continuous blabbing of his guild mate. Typically he does not like talkative people who's not making sense at all but it could be just a type of how he approach his fighting. Who knows? Demon? Jaguar? He sure is talkative which seems to be effective seeing that he's handling the rose among the thorns. The faceless one who got kicked tried to attack once more but was immediately apprehended by Chris as he leaned his body enough for the man to slip his body and midway, was knocked by a hit of the gun's handle by the nape. Ouch. Its enough to make the man unconscious but not dead.

Six dead. One cornered. One trying to stand. Its seems the conclusion of the confrontation is rather... fast. Chris managed to not end his enemies life but unfortunately, his guild mate did and as the other one tries to get back on his feet, Chris decided to shoot him out of pity. He won't die by Chris' hands and fortunately won't be by his guild mate's merciless approach on fighting. He may be doing this but his attention is on the unlucky prey of his guild mate. Chris is neutral. He's not to judge her fate.

Finally, the battle was over, and he could finally look at what he was doing. He smiled at the girl who was his captive, who was obviously worried about the fate of her guild-mates.
"Bastards... Why would you kill them?" She asked, glaring at Kaiba who merely shrugged
"Frankly, because if I didn't, they'd get back up and go try to kill innocent people. They could kill at least five people each if they were left alive, and so by killing your six friends I'm saving thirty people by my estimation. Now, where was I? Oh yes, information..." he grabbed the sword that was resting in her shoulder and turned it cruelly, causing a strong burst of pain through her body causing her to scream

"Oh, I'm sorry princess, am I not being nice?" She scowled at him, before he smiled cruelly
"Don't worry, if you give me the information I want I might let you live. Otherwise I'll just leave you pinned to this tree until you either starve to death, freeze to death or bleed to death. Understand?" She was still angry but nodded, to which Kaiba's smile softened into a genuine one
"I want to find a member of your guild. Her name is Kallie Richeinn. Where is she?" [/color]

The girl seemed to cackle with defiance, spitting at Kaiba, who caught it with his augmented arm.
"Fuck you, merc. I'm not selling out my friends." Kaiba's hand twisted the sword in her arm harder than before, causing a stream of blood to start trickling out as it was loosened.
"Think of this as your hourglass. Within 20 minutes, you'll have bled to death away from your friends and relations and surrounded by two men who want nothing more than information in return for getting you medical attention. Twenty minutes, that's it." He said before moving back to go sit against the roots of a nearby tree, watching her.

Re: Behind Enemy Lines

Things started to be rougher than it seem as it turn out that the enemies to Chris and his guild mate lost the encounter rather that fast. Unfortunately, for them, they had faced not just mages of Sable Panteras but rather mercenaries as their greater profession. They're no simple men capable of using like most. They're born to fight and kill giving them the edge compared to normal mages and for them, too. Chris may not have wanted to end their life by any means but nor did shed any soft feelings as he look on their fates. Surely, they may be of dark orientation but they're still human. Chris is not to judge. Perhaps with a tiny bit of sympathy, he may step in to whatever his guild mate was doing just to save a pitiful soul from being tortured even more. He bear no grudge against them in the first place and as he look on what's happening, its like they were the one doing something dark. Well, his guild mate for the most part as he was holding himself doing something out of his rules.

"What's with this?"
, he asked. Chris does not know the reason as to why his guild mate was asking some information from the dying tartaros mage nor to what it was all about. What ever it is, he has no intention to know it anyways. It might be personal thing and Chris has nothing to do with it but before he even get an answer, he walks away. Even if its an enemy, he does not like the idea of having people killed mercilessly. At best, give them glorious death.

Raising an eyebrow, he looked at Chris simply
"Head's orders. They wanted me to hunt down and execute the girl that I just mentioned, that's the reason I even came out here in the first place. The fact that I bumped into you was merely coincidence, and I thought I could use you as you looked like you'd been here a while." He said, before walking over and clapping an arm around his shoulder

"By the way, thanks for that. As strong as I am, it would still have been a hassle to have to fight all eight of them on my own. I appreciate the help." He said kindly, his voice nowhere near as cruel and gruesome as it had been earlier, yet another ploy to get the enemies to feel a certain way, in this case fear.
"I'm Takeda of Sable Pantera's hitmen squads. I think I remember you Chris.... You're that guy with the knives aren't'cha?"

That clear things up. Surely, if things went uglier than it is, Chris may have acted a little different since as his personal motivation, it may be personal and mainly about him, he does not like and want to see defenseless people getting agonized by those who have power on any case. Though this time, they were the one on top. Its his personal dilemma since if he did act so rashly, he may have ended up stepping into his guild mate's objective which turn out to be of the guild's, his very own guild. But then again, its now clear. Wait. Even if that's the case, Chris still think that excessive violence is not that still necessary. Of course, his view and stance would be different in case he's on the same mission as his guild mate but anyways, he now his own self very well.

Chris was silent as his guild mate explain stuffs and hold no judgement against him as to how overkill his actions were. He was not saying anything and tries to distance himself not literally but figuratively. But as it turn out that he's not up for something nor has any important mission now that he's done with the Mt. Three Head, he's ready to leave any time. Well, not after he try to give his hand to his guild mate. It might be off course but not that much. As a pantera, they got each other's back.

"...", still without a word, Chris kept his silence as he look back to his guild mate who was giving the dying enemy a condition to spare its life. Its probably her chance to live if she cooperate. If not, its her choice. Though on the same time, as both Chris and his guild mate watches how will things turn out next, the other pantera member introduced himself. Chris may not be familiar with his name but he once scan through to roster and did see Takeda, Kaiba Takeda. And to his response, still in silence, Chris just slightly gestured his hand into his holstered gun right after Kaiba's insight about Chris about the man with knives. He suggested nothing. Its more of a casual cue that aside from knives, he's a man of handguns, too.

Anyways, Chris decided to go off. He's not part of the mission Kaiba is currently taking. Not that he does not want to not take part on it nor care for his guild mate but like what Kaiba said, its purely coincidence. Perhaps some other time where they can officially do a mission together.
