This is a fairly new site, being only about 2 and a half months old. Our setting takes place about 400 years into the past - x391 being the current year - and dragons freely roam Earthland. While humans and dragons are currently in peace with each other, there is darkness brewing and that fragile line of truce between them might just break soon enough.

Iron-make Magic {FINISHED}

Description: The ability to mold Iron into any shape desired and use it. The basic requirement of this magic is that the user has access to iron. The user can mold the iron into any shape and the precision of the shape the iron takes is dependent on the rank of the spell.

Iron Make – rod
Tier: Base Spell
Sigils/Sigil Slots: 0/0
Magic Cost: 10
Type: Utility
Element: metal
Range: length of the rod
Requirements: Access to iron
Effect: The user creates a rod of iron the same length as the ones he carries around. He only uses this spell to make more rods when he runs out. that means the rod is 4'6 long and 3/4 of an inch thick.
Cooldown: 1 post

Iron Make - shield
Tier: Base Spell
Sigils/Sigil Slots: 0/0
Magic Cost: 10
Type: Defensive
Element: metal
Range: self
Requirements: Access to iron
Effect: Zander creates a small round sheild about 2 feet on the side of his arm to defend against attacks. It's weight is about 60 lbs. so it slows the user down considerably. The shield can take 7 base spells, 3 tier 1 spells, or 1 tier 2 before breaking. These numbers all drop to 1 if the shield rusts. The user may be burned if the shield is hit with intense heat.

Iron Make - fist
Tier: Base Spell
Sigils/Sigil Slots: 0/0
Magic Cost: 10
Type: Offensive
Element: metal
Range: self
Requirements: Access to iron
Effect: Zander coats his fist in iron to increase the damage of his punches using that hand by half a tier. The coating is very thin so it typically breaks on contact with anything.
Cooldown: 1 post

Iron Make - needle
Tier: Base Spell
Sigils/Sigil Slots: 0/0
Magic Cost: 10
Type: Offensive
Element: metal
Range: 15 yards
Requirements: Access to iron
Effect: Zander creates a small needle of iron and fires it at the opponent. The needle is 1.5 inches long and very fragile and weak.
Cooldown: 1 post

Iron Make - scythe
Tier: Base Spell
Sigils/Sigil Slots: 0/0
Magic Cost: 10
Type: Offensive
Element: metal
Range: length of the scythe
Requirements: Access to iron
Effect: Zander creates a scythe and uses it as a weapon. The scythe has a 5 foot long shaft and the blade is about 1 foot long. There are no special quirks and the edge of the blade is rather blunt. This weapon will break after 5 base spells or 2 tier 1 spells come in contact with it.

Ok here goes... I am not sure if I should send it to Spit/Sokuseki so I will just post it here.


  • I would like to see an increase of the cooldown on all spells by 1, besides from "Iron-make - Rod" since that spells is well... just creating rods.

  • "Iron-make - Shield" I think that for a base spell the current strength (defending against 7 Base, 3 T1 & 1 T2) is far too much. Lower it to for example 3-5 Base spells.

  • "Iron-make - fist" What kind of damage can it give? Superficial, minor etc?

  • "Iron-make - needle" same here how much damage can it do? How fast does it move?

  • "Iron-make - Scythe" Also here lower how much damage it can take.
  • How much damage can it give?
