”Don’t flatter yourself, Villenn.”

Heero let out a little smile again. “You will be the one to decide if I’m flattering myself or not,” he pointed out. Saya’s emotions would decide if Heero was flattering himself or not.

”Hah! You won’t find anything better than this view. You’ll probably have to travel all around the world to see something that can come up to par.”

Heero laughed hysterically at Saya’s comment. “Really? So you’re that confident that nothing in this world could beat this view? I’ll admit that this is the best view I’ve seen in my life but haven’t you heard the phrase ‘there’s always someone better’? That feigns to reason that there’s always something better. Meaning since there is always something better, there is no such thing as perfection in this world,” Heero let out his view of perfection and the world, defending his comment of finding something more beautiful then stunning scenery before him. All the while smiling and laughing. It wasn’t that he thought Saya was insane or foolish but that he was having so much fun. Heero hadn’t been this happy in quite a while. “I’ll tell you what though,” Heero began getting a slight hold of himself and leaning in closer to Saya again so their faces were only a few inches apart. Heero pointed his finger in the air seemingly for no reason. “I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for a view better than this. When or if I find it I’ll come over here and drag you to see it,” Heero declared his determination to find a greater beauty than the one before him as Heero drew back spreading his arms open wide with joy. “Sound like a deal?”

She shook her head in amusement, deciding to leave the matter of being flattered or not alone. His words were a bit confusing and Saya did not like being confused. He wasn't dong it on purpose, she was sure of that. Besides, he looked and seemed younger than her, and that made it all the more weird and awkward with the flirting.

Heero surprised her though with the sudden outburst of laugh. Saya felt her lips turn to a bit of a frown and puffed up her cheeks. She knew she was being stubborn as she had heard of the phrase before, but Saya would always think of this spot as the most beautiful and perfect place ever. She wasn't going to change it even if she really did see another place that would make it seem ordinary and nothing special.

"Alright then. That sounds reasonable," she nodded, her frown had gone but Saya was feeling a bit bitter about it. It was then that she noticed that the sky had darken considerably, causing Saya to frown. "It's time to leave, Villenn. If it gets too dark it'll be hard to look for the stones to cross over." She turned from her favorite place and began to walk away in a slow pace so that Heero could easily catch up to her.

Based on Saya’s body language Heero knew it wouldn’t matter when or if he found a more beautiful place or not and understood why. As a result Heero let out of soft sigh. “I guess there’s nothing more beautiful than home huh?” Heero said with a light smile. It wasn’t very loud but it was loud enough that Saya could hear it so that she knew that Heero understood.

“hm? I can just jump us off the cliff and over the roofs if you wanna get home early I can get you there in 5 to 10 minutes as long as you tell me where I’m going,” Heero explained pointing straight off the cliff with a blank face that showed he was completely serious. Heero always seemed to forget that he was the only one who didn’t have a big deal with jumping from high places. Well, it’s not that he forgot on purpose, he forgot primarily because he really doesn’t care.
